My background includes serving as a plan reviewer for the State of Montana Building Department, where I gained invaluable expertise in interpreting and applying the state's complex building codes. This experience provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory landscape and the critical role of thorough plan reviews in ensuring public safety.

Currently, I hold the position of Building Official for the City of East Helena, a role that allows me to directly serve my community and oversee the implementation of building codes at the local level. This hands-on experience provides a unique perspective and a practical understanding of the challenges faced by both jurisdictions and builders.

At Montana Code Consulting, I leverage my extensive knowledge and experience to provide design, permitting liaison, and third party plan review services.
